We had just closed de Musica Sawa campaign. We were proud and thankful to donors who helped us raised almost 50 000 euros for the associations we are supporting (see description below for more information). These associations support the Lebanese people everyday in education and food relief, while facing an incredibly difficult financial crisis for about a year now. August 4th, around 18h, when a blast almost wiped out Beirut, the only option for us was to launched a new fund raising campaign benefiting NGO like the Lebanese Red Cross who are saving lives on the ground. We please urge you to relay this message and make a donation if you can !

Musica Sawa, a musical initiative in support of Beit el Baraka and the school of St Vincent de Paul in Lebanon
Musica Sawa (music together) is an initiative run by the organization Amitiés Neuilly Liban, a nonprofit association registered in Nanterre law 1901. Its mission is to promote Lebanese culture and to help humanitarian organizations across Lebanon.
In a context of significant economic and social distress, the Lebanese musical scene is more united than ever. To support two NGOs based in Lebanon, Musica Sawa is gathering benefit performances by Lebanese artists and friends of Lebanon. Starting June 20th, the performances will be posted online over the span of a month, with one artist highlighted each day.
Thanks to Musica Sawa’s initiative, the collected funds will be given in full to:
Beit el Baraka’ s mission is to provide food aid to thousands and particularly those in retirement, a community that is facing unprecedented uncertainty due to Lebanon’s increased cost of living. In addition to offering access to a free supermarket, Beit El Baraka distributes food boxes all over Lebanon with the help of a network of 95 associations. They also engage in housing restoration and leverage three agricultural lands to guarantee autonomous food supply for many families. The funds raised by Musica Sawa will be used to cover the expenses of the food distribution network and to help fund the agricultural projects.
The school of Saint-Vincent de Paul has for 160 years taken charge of more than 550 underprivileged children, of all backgrounds, and provided them with access to education from kindergarten to middle school. In the current social and economic climate, the school is deprived of 75% of its usual contributions as well as of governmental assistance, which has been absent for the past five years. The funds raised by Musica Sawa will cover part of the tuition fees (these amount to $ 750 000 per year), and will enable other targeted investments, mainly in computer science hardware needs.
Today, more than ever, Lebanon needs you!
Our team is made up of 100% volunteers
Our project, Musica Sawa, came to light thanks to the energy of a multidisciplinary team, based in Paris and Beirut, and thanks to a generous and united artist front that is performing exclusively for the benefit of this event.
